Socializing your Minature Schnauzer is very important. Taking them with you to Lowes is great when they are a puppy. Hold them for the fist couple of times and let them get used to voices, other paying attention to them and all the sights and sounds.
I would not take them into a Pet store until there immune system has fully devleopled - and they have had all there shots.
